Internet usage policies are established to minimize the risk of malicious applications entering the network, to increase employee productivity, and to mitigate legal liability. For Example, many companies implement employee internet usage policies to prohibit access to inappropriate websites and to limit access to unproductive websites (like shopping and sports) from company computers and networks.
